It proudly welcomes its residents from two directions: The unusual corner building is located on quiet, tree-lined streets to the east of Treskowallee. The left wing of the U-shaped building faces Stolzenfelsstrasse, while the middle section and the right wing face Andernacher Strasse. The house was built in 1910 and is a listed building. Windows of the same size as well as round and rectangular balconies structure the simple but classic façade. A total of three staircases lead to the upper floors of the corner building. Renovation measures are planned for the corner building, which will enhance the building in the long term. The façade will be given a new color scheme in coordination with the heritage authority, in harmony with the neighboring buildings and in keeping with the historical style. The entrance areas and stairwells will also be given a new coat of paint. The wooden flooring in the staircases will be repaired and fitted with coconut or sisal runners. The installation of high-quality doorbell panels with intercom systems will bring communication at the door up to current standards. Depending on requirements, balconies are repaired according to structural specifications and wooden windows and balcony doors are refurbished.
